This is the website for Julie Mallinson, aka Julie Davies, photographer, Stalybridge.

Born in Chesterfield, Derbyshire, on the edge of the Peak District and living as a child in Holmfirth, Yorkshire, Julie has always appreciated the rugged and moody scenery of Northern England.

Julie currently lives in Stalybridge, on the edge of the Yorkshire Moors and in the summer of 2007, Julie started taking photographs of her local landscape.

After a lot of encouragement from close friends and family, Julie first started to commercially sell her work at her eldest son's school.

Since then Julie has begun to exhibit her work at local galleries and cafes.

Julie specialises in macro photography of flowers, scenic photography and photographs inscribed with inspirational messages.

She uses a Canon Eos 400D   to capture her photographs and is currently expanding her hobby into her own business.
