When I shoot photographs I often get strange stares as I lie on the floor or bend down to take close up images. The pictures that I take are often unusual and close to the subject matter. I really enjoy seeing new textures and value everyday items as individual subjects.
How often have we walked along a beach and looked out at the sea, but not even glanced at the pebbles we are walking on, or walked past a tree and admired its leaves or flowers, but thought the bark uniteresting? The aim of these photographs is to appreciate mundane objects in a new and exciting way and to enjoy even the little details of life.
